How to make a human model to perform simple tasks (like walking and sit-ups etc ) in gazebo and controlled using ROS?

Hello, I know how to spawn a human model into Gazebo but it don't have any joints. I want to know that how one can add joints in existing model to make it perform simple tasks like walking, climbing stairs, sit ups, lifting something, etc ?
