ros integration messages ignored [closed]

Using the ros gazebo interface plugin in gazebo that send joint state data to ros.

Then using the publisher plugin in rqt-gui to sends "/jointpositioncontroller/command std_msgs/Fload64 data(sin(i))" to gazebo

From what I can see gazebo ignores the command. rqt-plot show that there is no response on /rrbot/joint1positioncontroller/state.process_value. Even if I move the model manually with the move tool in gazebo it does not register in the plot graph.

There appear to be a problem with the urdf model being used that is underlying this problem.
