I am trying gazebo launch with empty world on my laptop. I gets following output most of the times.

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[gazebo_gui-3] process has died [pid 9589, exit code 139, cmd /opt/ros/hydro/lib/gazebo_ros/gzclient __name:=gazebo_gui __log:=/home/nitin/.ros/log/e93d19f0-9f09-11e3-a434-00216a476f4e/gazebo_gui-3.log].
log file: /home/nitin/.ros/log/e93d19f0-9f09-11e3-a434-00216a476f4e/gazebo_gui-3*.log

Although gazebo gui do pop sometimes but fails good number of times. Could it be related to low power graphics card? I am using Ubuntu12.04 debs

EDIT 1: My machine has Nvidia Quadro Fx1700 graphics card. glxgears runs at 190 fps on full screen display of three gears. Therefore, I believe graphics card is installed properly.

Other observation i have found is that Gazebo crashes as soon as Rviz is instantiated! This is strange for me.
