DRC Vehicle operationality changes

According to the roadmap it seems that only geometry changes are expected.

As for now (DRCsim 2.5) the car is almost not operational. Atlas can not turn the wheel, and even the car's hand wheel controllers respond very slowly (approximately 13 seconds to turn the wheels from side to side) which make the driving task improbable.

Can we expect any changes soon regarding this issue? and how can we changes the response time of the hand wheel?
