Hi,

if you installed it using the default path and ubuntu > 14.04, try

$ echo '/usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu' | sudo tee
$ sudo ldconfig

of you installed it to a custom path:

$ echo '/<my_custom_path>/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu' | sudo tee
$ sudo ldconfig

if you have ubuntu < 14.04 you might need to forget the x86_64-linux-gnu part

Cheers, Andrei
