I am new at Gazebo simulation. I define rotation axis in my model but my model is rotating itself (at wrong axis) that makes my robotic arm model really funny.
Any help would be appreciated. ThanksWed, 03 Apr 2013 06:31:57 -0500http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/Comment by skhan for
Hello,

Problem is solved by changing revolution type.Wed, 03 Apr 2013 08:56:09 -0500http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?comment=2215#post-id-2215Comment by AndreiHaidu for
Hello,

http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?comment=2212#post-id-2212Could you post your sdf file, and be a bit more explicit about the problem? http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?answer=24830#post-id-24830Hey bro, sorry I am too late for the answer, but I tried reducing the time step down to 0.0005 then to 0.00025 and finally to 0.0002 seconds. Then my model stayed still, but for values lower than 0.0002 my model broke. I recommend you to set your model time step simulation down to 0.0002.
Hope you are doing it well.Tue, 14 Apr 2020 19:44:58 -0500http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?answer=24830#post-id-24830Answer by skhan for
Hello,

http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?answer=2214#post-id-2214I used revolute2 rotation type instead of revolute so when collision cloud collides it starts moving in other random directions.
Problem is sovled now =)Wed, 03 Apr 2013 08:55:30 -0500http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/2210/gazebo-model-rotating-itself/?answer=2214#post-id-2214
