Multiple versions on same machine

Dear Gazebo Users, is it possible to have multiple versions of Gazebo available on the same machine? In particular, I am using Ubuntu 14.04 with ROS Indigo and I would keep the gazebo version 2. However, I would like to have the availability of model editor of version 6.x in order to easily create new model. Thank you for your support!
