why the model is floating in the air ?

first,i download a model from 3dwarehouse,open the file in the sketchup,import a .dae file.then i use the mese file to make a gazebo model.but sometime i make it.and some model may floating in the air.i also translate the model among z
axis.but it will not be successful,it will still in the initial position .is there anyone can help me?

Did you check the model's collisions? Right-click it and choose View->Collisions

Possibilities: Model is set static in the .sdf you have created a fixed joint instead of i.e. a prismatic joint
