Dear All, I am new to Gazebo, my background is computer science so i don't know in deep about robots. I want to work on some planning stuff for multiple robots, is there any possible of using a pre-defined robot model which is ready to work with experiments etc. I will make use of ROS to make autonomous control according to my requirements.

I am looking for two kinds of robots, one simple wheeled mobile robot, that can only move in environment, having basic sensors etc. Another one which can do some task like lifting an object with same ability of moving as prior one. Is it ok now? or i should be more precise.

This forum is for gazebo, not for V-rep. If you want to use gazebo, You haven't given *any* information about what kind of robot you're looking for. Please be much more specific

I'd look at the turtlebot model. It's one of the most well supported/tested robots and there's tons of code for navigating and planning. As for lifting objects, you should update your question with what you want. A gripper? a forklift? magical levitation?
