Gazebo unable to import models

I'm a noob in ROS and Gazebo so please go easy on me. I recently installed ROS kinetic and i'm facing this issue with gazebo. when i type gazebo --verbose i keep getting errors and warnings as shown in the below picture image description

could someone please give me a fix for this issue

It looks like the computer is not connected to the internet. You need an internet connection to download these models.

The computer is connected to the internet. You can confirm by looking at the up & down arrow in the top right corner of the picture

On my computer, that icon just means "network settings", but not necessarily that there is a connection.

ive opened gazebo again right now in the same computer that im using to comment here and its still not importing the models even though its connected to the internet

You might have some default proxy setting for the terminal. Open the network settings from Settings and apply same proxy setting system wide. If you do not use any proxy then select None and apply system wide. Please restart before using further
