Suggested system configuration for running ROS+Gazebo simulations.

I am trying to run some simulations on my robot model on a 7th Gen i5 laptop (ROS Kinetic + Gazebo 7) and the process tends to be very heavy. I can't even use my browser comfortably. I'd be looking for a system that can be used for the purpose, preferably with a good GPU.

Does Gazebo support new NVIDIA GPUs? What would be a good configuration in terms of processor, RAM and GPU (and how much do each of these actually count)? I am currently planning an i7 with 8/16 GB RAM and the NVIDIA GTX 960M.

Look at this link: (http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?tut=gu...) It does support dedicated NVIDIA GPU.

I have Intel® Core™ i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz × 4 with Intel® HD Graphics 530 (Skylake GT2) and 8 GB of RAM. Mine is working fine.
