I am interested in experimenting with Gazebo, however my employer currently prefers Red Hat Enterprise or CentOS over Ubuntu. Does anybody have any experience with compiling Gazebo on either of those flavors? I apologize for the basic question, I found a similar question from 2016 without answer and want to verify if either OS is likely to work well with Gazebo and it's dependencies before asking our IT department to take the time to convert a system.
