libgazebo_player.so not installed

This issue was already adressed in http://answers.gazebosim.org/question..., but with no response, and earlier in http://answers.gazebosim.org/question..., solved by a pull request, which was then declined (https://bitbucket.org/osrf/gazebo/pul...).

Is it actually fixed and my installation is wrong and how can I fix it?
