Gazebo 9.6.0 crashes with 255 while using libgazebo_ros_openni_kinect.so plugin in URDF

Dear all,

I am running Ubuntu 16.04. Roskinetic with Gazebo 9.6.0 for Ros Kinetic. I had no troubles to

  1. Use this Gazebo Depth Camera tutorial with libgazeborosopennikinect.so - http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?tut=rosdepthcamera&cat=connectros

  2. No troubles to use libgazeboroscamera.so in my URDF file

  3. No problem with libgazeborosgpu_laser.so and using different worlds like GasStation etc.

But when I want to use libgazeborosopenni_kinect.so in my URDF file. Gazebo server crashes with 255 without any error log. Any Ideas? Could it be something with NVidia drivers. Nvidia Driver is working fine for other plugins and in all other applications?
