How to create sdf Element in Gazebo plugin from the description

I've done it before, but I cannot remember nor find it anywhere. I could write the sdf description as text in " signs and somehow convert it into sdf Element and be able to spawn the sdf model written like that into the world from the gazebo plugin. How is it done?
