I am using embedded ruby to create a template for my gazebo model how do I launch it using param?

I have a centralised launch file which is following a multiple hierarchy and spawning multiple things in my gazebo world. I want to use param like we do it for xacro or sdf and directly launch it without converting how can we do that?
