I would like to install Gazebo 9 in Ubuntu 18.04 VM running in the cloud. So that I can run Gazebo simulation from the cloud and display the UI in my local machine. I installed Melodic and Gazebo 9 successfully in the VM, but when I tried to run Gazebo in remote terminal, it returns "libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found".

I can display 'gedit' or 'gnome-calculator' in my local machine. When I tried 'glxgears', the same error 'libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found' also occurs. Does anyone have any suggestion?

The reason to run Gazebo in the cloud is so that other developers can use the UI without installing it in their local machine. Hope to hear from you!
