does anyone know of a plugin for applying forces with the mouse?

Does anyone know of a plugin for applying forces with the mouse? Other simulators have this feature and I think it would be useful.

Thanks for the suggestions, but no that's not what I mean. What I want is to click and drag on a link, and have it apply force, as I'm literally pulling on that link. Essentially it's a much faster/easier and more dynamic way to do what that "apply force" dialog allows you to do.
