ArduPilot SITL -- simulating ArduPlane, and seeing the 3D visualization of the simulation in gazebo gazebo 9 used with the plugin to make ArduPilot work with gazebo 9

Loading up the gazebo worlds called planedemo.world and planepropeller_demo.world show a crappy model with crappy plane (no world detail, no plane model detail) and nothing is simulated How can I get ArduPilot to work with gazebo-9 so that the simulation of the ArduPlane vehicle in ArduPilot-SITL can be visualized in 3D by gazebo??
