The installation instructions for Archlinux are severely outdated

The instructions at http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?tut=install_other_linux&cat=install are severely out-dated.

The build instructions are based on an AUR repo which aren't maintained very well (i.e., on a YMMV basis). (Note: neither yaourt or packer are actively maintained)

I am having trouble installing Gazebo, which depends on ogre-1.9, on Archlinux. Package build failed during the compilation of /opt/AUR/ogre-1.9/src/ogre-1.9.1/OgreMain/src/OgreRoot.cpp and I have reason to believe it's an upstream issue with ogre. (See https://github.com/acxz/pkgbuilds/issues/151 for details)

Can the Gazebo project provide better support for ArchLinux and update the installation instructions on your project page (http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?tut=install_other_linux&cat=install)?
