Can I have a set of motors run on a different state publisher than the rest of the robot

I would like to make a robot that has a dynamic turret-sensor system to a fetch robot however, I need the fetch robot to run its joint states on jointstates and for the turret to run on projector/jointstates as this project is already developed for irl use. Is there anything I can do?
