I gdalwarped it to reduce it's resolution. I am using the same technique described in the tutorial. But the command essentially scales it to whatever height I want. How do I show the true elevations and distances? If I do not include the size specs it prints a tiny surface with very tall and jagged cliffs, which is not representative of the DEM. It looks like Z axis is off on scaling
