Gazebo 1.5 model plugin compatibility and example

Two questions,

First, does anyone know a good example plugin that is working with Gazebo as it comes with groovy?

Second, would a plugin working with the Gazebo included with ROS be (relatively) forwards compatible?

Answers

There have been ongoing changes to Gazebo-ROS integration. Forward compatibility may not be guaranteed but I think it may probably only require minor changes.
