razer hydra not starting in Gazebo 4.0.1 with Ubuntu 14.04 [closed]

When starting a world with razer hydra plugin I constantly get the following error:

[Err] [HydraPlugin.cc:120] couldn't open hidraw device[/dev/hidraw0]

I am also unable to run it with the ROS package. Has anybody tested this under 14.04? Could that be the issue?

UPDATE!!

I tried it on a different Ubuntu, there it worked, seems like it's an issue with 14.04?
