github youbot model moving wildly

Hi, I installed the github youBot model for Hydro and it seemed to be working fine, except the arm wasn't moving...then I installed gazebo-ros-control pkgs and everything went rampant: the model starts dancing madly when it gets spawned. Help would be appreciated!

I haven't used the model that you are referring to, but here are a few things to check:

  1. Check that the commanded joint forces are reasonable.

  2. Check the inertia properties of the model. You can visualize inertia in Gazebo >3. Otherwise, you'll have to use math.
