Rotation by quaternions not the same as shown in the simulation

Hi,

I am simulating and autonomous underwater vehicle. Therefore I try to get the orientation using the quaternions from Gazebo of my model. The problem is that the simulation shows a rotation positive around the z-axis (as desired) whereas the quaternions give back a rotation negative around the z-axis. Does anyone know why this happens?
