How to scale actor correctly

I was trying to scale an actor like by adding the scale tag with a number in the skin and animation tag, tried adding to only one of them as well. The result was always some kind of deformation.

I also tried to import the walk.dae to blender, scale it then export, but this somehow changes the structure and the actor just wont load. Any suggestions?

All i want is to have my actor size=0.4*size with normal animation.
