Libgazebo_player - Can't connect Player with Gazebo

Hi, I installed Gazebo 4.0 a couple of days ago and I've been trying to connect it with player. I have player/stage working already on my computer, so I don't have any idea what does this error message means (also "gzserver" doesn't respond). I will really appreciate it if someone could give some guidance. Thank you in advance :)

I've just installed the latest svn version of player (3.1) and I'm still having the same error. I'm thinking maybe both aren't compatible somehow. Does anybody have player/gazebo-4.0 actually working?
